Toronto Fire Service
Throughout 2022, Dependable Emergency Vehicles will be delivering multiple apparatus to Toronto Fire Services. We are proud and honoured to build these units, for the largest and busiest fire department in Canada.
Scugog Fire and Emergency Services, ON
Our first delivery of 2022 is a DEV Commercial Pumper to Scugog Fire and Emergency Services. Built on a Freightliner M2 106 four-door chassis, and includes a Hale Qflow Plus pump and a 1000 USG poly tank with 30 USG foam cell. Added custom features include a 24” extended front bumper with center hose tray, adjustable shelving and slide out trays throughout the exterior storage compartments, and SoundOff Signal scene and warning lights.
Rideau Lakes Fire & Rescue, ON
Rideau Lakes Fire & Rescue took delivery of a 12’ mini-rescue, built on a Ford F550 cab and chassis. This quick response vehicle features a poly body with a full transverse L1/R1 compartment, SlideMaster roll out trays, adjustable shelves, and Amdor roll up doors. Also included are Federal Signal scene and warning lights, a Federal Signal Pathfinder controller, and two Akron Brass SceneStar telescoping lights.
Caledon Fire and Emergency Services, ON
Caledon Fire and Emergency Services took delivery of Tanker 309, making its home at Caledon Village station. This apparatus is built on a Freightliner M2 112 4-door chassis with an aluminum body and features a 2000 USG polytank with integral foam tank. The tanker includes a Hale QMax 1750 USGPM pump, an FRC FoamPro 2001 foam system, with an Akron Brass DeckMaster monitor. Additional highlights include Whelen scene and warning lights and OnSpot tire chains for winter performance.
Toronto Fire Services, ON
Toronto Fire Services took delivery of their custom-built Spartan/Dependable heavy duty walk in squad apparatus. Squad 313 is built on a Spartan Gladiator MFD cab and chassis, and includes a 20” raised roof and Spartan’s Advanced Protection System® (APS) that provides additional safety provisions for the occupants. This apparatus features eight compartments on the aluminum body, with roll out trays and adjustable shelves for custom storage solutions, Whelen scene & warning lights, and an FRC InView 360 HD Camera.
South Bruce Fire Rescue Service
South Bruce Fire Rescue Service welcomed home a Spartan/Dependable pumper. This apparatus is built on a Spartan Metro Star MFD cab and chassis with Spartan’s APS occupant protection system, a Hale QFlo 5000 LPM pump, and 1000 USG of water. This pumper includes the IDEX Fire & Safety S.A.M (Scene Apparatus Manger) control system, simplifying complex pump operations.
Toronto Fire Services
The Toronto Fire Service added twin air light vehicles to their fleet. These trucks are built Freightliner M2 106 cab and chassis and can carry up to 125 SCBA bottles and twelve O2 bottles. A well laid out compact vehicle that includes an FRC inView 360 video system, Harrison 20,000kW generator and a Waltco tailgate lift gate.
Temiskaming Shores Fire Department
A custom designed and built walk-in rescue was delivered to Temiskaming Shores Fire Department in Haileybury, Ontario. This apparatus features twelve bunker gear storage compartments, four FRC Spectra lights, an Irwin Air CS-2 cascade system and a 15kW Cummins Onan generator.
Caledon Fire and Emergency Services
Caledon Fire and Emergency Services received a custom-built Dependable pumper. Built on a Spartan Metro Star LFD cab and chassis, this apparatus features through the tank ladder and pike pole storage, custom built stokes baskets tunnel and a wide range of adjustable shelves, trays and tool boards. With 800 USG of water, 30 USG of foam and a Hale QMAX 7000 LPM pump this pumper is ready for service.
Clarington Emergency and Fire Services
This custom pumper is built on a Spartan Metro Star MFD cab and chassis. The pump is a Hale QMAX 5000 LPM complete with nine discharges. The body features seven exterior compartments with Amdor roll up doors and holds 650 USG of water and 30USG of foam. The pumper includes two FRC Evolution telescopic lights and Federal Signal red and blue lighting.
