    We are looking for a *PETROLEUM CALIBRATION TECHNICIAN* (METER CALIBRATION TECHNICIAN) to work on Heavy Trucks meter calibration system.

    Job responsibilities:

    • Calibrate bulk Petroleum Meter on Heavy Trucks as per Canada Measurement Standards
    • Perform minor meter repairs for gas, diesel, lube oil, and DEF meters
    • Repair or replace broken or malfunctioning components of petroleum pumps and metering

    Skills:

    • DIESEL TRUCKS/ automotive experience is must
    • Must be mechanically inclined
    • Excellent with Mathematics
    • Willing to learn
    • Able to prepare reports

    We are looking for FIRE EQUIPMENT SALES MANAGER.

    Job responsibilities:

    • Analyze the effectiveness of sales programs; recommend and implement changes based on findings.
    • Develop, prepare, and deliver sales materials, trade show exhibits, conference appearances and other promotional programs.
    • Complete proper forms and documentation (example: build book, etc.)
    • Assist in Annual Budget planning; monitor expenditures throughout the fiscal year
    • Meet Sales Goals 
    • Develop and implement sales strategies and other growth opportunities.

    We are looking for a *Production Manager * who provides leadership, direction, and coordination of one of two manufacturing segments in the shop, Assembly or FAP (Final After Paint). Drive to established metrics and improve profitability within their given area of authority. Leadership and accountability for safety, quality, cost, and delivery meeting corporate and departmental goals and initiatives. Support, implement and use the Dependable as the primary tool for operational excellence and continuous improvement. Must be an active participant in continuous improvement, employee involvement, and equal employment opportunity systems. 

    Job responsibilities:

    • The leadership of the workforce within the manufacturing segment
    • Work with other Managers to achieve the best overall results with existing and plan resources 
    • Drive accountability to meet targets and deliverables 
    • Participation in the organization and execution of all systems and processes required to maintain a safe working environment, reduce cost, improve quality and deliver throughout the company.
    • Analyze and recommend future requirements related to manpower, machinery, tooling, equipment and floor space. 
    • Maintain clean, organized, and safe worksite.
    • Assist in the development and implementation of appropriate training for all employees with an emphasis on quality, safety, and cross-functional team training. 
    • Participation on appropriate cross functional teams.
    • Primary contact for planning and scheduling at the shop floor level.

    • Must have managed mix model vehicle plant experience 
    • Working knowledge of the Toyota Production System 
    • Must have a history of increasing responsibility and promotion 
    • Possess excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to communicate orally or written to any level of the organization. 
    • Must have experience in a production system where minutes matter and able to make decisions with less than optimal information available. 
    • Must be willing to take on more responsibility if the situation requires it
    • Self-motivated to improve oneself and the team you lead
    • Understands there is a balance between work and outside work for yourself and your team.  
    • Firm but fair and consistent when dealing with subordinates

  3. Plumbing Assembler

    We are looking for a *Plumbing Assembler* (FABRICATOR NOT A WELDER ALUMINUM) who is responsible for assisting in the building of the pump for the fire trucks to meet customer specifications based on blueprints, drawings specifications.

    Job responsibilities:


    The following reflect the essential functions for this position but does not restrict the tasks that may be assigned based upon changing business conditions. 

    • Install heat exchanger not already installed with value 
    • Install master drain, primer control, pump shift, discharges, R&L rear, and front bumper; bleeder and auto drains
    • Weld pipes as needed to complete installation
    • Connect lines to gauge panel
    • Install tank level sight tube
    • Effective use of conventional and precision measuring instruments
    • Perform process inspection to assure quality welds
    • Perform basic maintenance on welding equipment

    Qualifications:

    • Ability to use basic hand and power tools 
    • Ability to use MIG welder and plasma cutter on stainless steel
    • Ability to read and use a tape measure and square to precise measurements 
    • Ability to read complex prints and build specifications 
    • Ability to work in a team environment and assist peers as needed 
    • Ability to maintain attendance within company guidelines
    • Ability to retain and apply instructions. 
    • Demonstrated pipefitting knowledge and skills 
    • Vocational training in MIG welding or equivalent experience, minimum one year experience 
    • Basic math skills; addition, subtraction, multiplication and division 
    • Must be detail orientated 
    • Ability to read and understand trucks specifications document
    • Ability to communicate and understand in English

    We are looking for a *Quote Administrator* (Fire Truck Sales).

    Job responsibilities:


    The following reflect the essential functions for this position but does not restrict the tasks that may be assigned based upon changing business conditions. 

    • Install heat exchanger not already installed with value 
    •   Completing tenders, RFP’s, RFQ’s and other requests from municipalities across Canada for capital equipment
    •  Preparing quotes for company products (fire trucks, custom-built pumpers, fire equipment, etc.), as well as the US manufacturers that we represent
    • Use propriety software, quote writing tools, and Microsoft Office applications to complete detailed pricing and prepare specifications
    • Complete the full submission be in a professional manner, highlighting the features and benefits of the products being offered
    •  Conduct reviews of the proposal at the front end of the contract to ensure that no errors were made, as well as implementing changes that may be required.
    • Work with the division director, as well as the field sales staff and other internal and external resources

    Skills:

    • The ideal candidate will have at minimum, graduated from university or college with a business degree or diploma 
    • Experience selling to governments and familiarity with tenders, RFP’s, RFQ’s and use of Merx, Biddingo, and other government tendering websites is beneficial
    • Knowledge of manufacturing processes is beneficial, but not required
    •  Exceptional writing skills are required, as much of the work involved will focus on written content
    • The successful candidate must be able to work with minimum supervision and balance competing priorities but recognize when to ask for help
    • The position will be working with multiple project partners and customers across North America, and experience should show the ability to do this effectively.
