  1. Plumbing Assembler

    We are currently looking for a Plumbing Assembler to assist in the build and assembly of the pumps on fire trucks.

    Job Responsibilities:

    • Install heat exchanger not already installed with value
    • Install master drain, primer control, pump shift, discharges, R&L rear and front bumper; bleeder and auto drains
    • Weld pipes as needed to complete installation
    • Connect lines to gauge panel
    • Install tank level sight tube
    • Effective use of conventional and precision measuring instruments
    • Perform inspection to assure quality welds
    • Maintain a clean and safe work area
    • Assist team members as needed and other duties as assigned

    Skills & Qualifications:

    • Vocational training or equivalent experience in MIG welding
    • Demonstrated pipefitting knowledge and skills
    • Ability to use basic hand and power tools
    • Ability to use MIG welder and plasma cutter on stainless steel
    • Ability to read and use a tape measure to precise measurements
    • Basic math skills; addition, subtraction, multiplication and division
    • Read and work from blueprints and build specifications
    • Ability to retain and apply instructions
    • Ability to work in a fast-paced, high volume environment
    • Good communication skills, both written and verbal
    • Ability to multi-task with effective time management skills
    • Be flexible, reliable, and punctual

  2. Custodian

    We are currently looking for a Custodian to be responsible for cleaning and organizing our busy manufacturing and service facility’s shop floor. This role will be responsible for ensuring our team environment is clean, safe, and organized for maximum efficiency.

    Job Responsibilities:

    • Cleaning building floors; sweeping, mopping, vacuuming, and scrubbing
    • Gathering and disposing of trash
    • Servicing and replenishing supplies of restrooms
    • Following procedures for the use of chemical cleaners and power equipment, ensuring proper use to prevent damage to floors and fixtures
    • Organizing and assisting Shipping & Receiving; putting away materials, parts, tools, and distributing materials to defined locations or personnel.
    • Monitor building security and safety by performing such tasks as locking doors after operating hours and checking electrical appliance use to ensure that hazards are not created
    • Move heavy furniture, equipment, and supplies, either manually or by using hand trucks
    • Mow and trim lawns and shrubbery, using mowers and hand and power trimmers, and clear debris from grounds
    • Remove snow from sidewalks, driveways, and parking areas, using snowplows, snow blowers, and snow shovels, and spread snow melting chemicals
    • Notify management concerning needs for repairs or additions to building operating systems
    • Other duties as assigned

    Skills:

    • Physical demands of bending, crouching, reaching, and use of stairs and step ladders
    • Moving stock with pallet jack, forklifts, hand trucks, and dollies
    • Ability to work in a fast-paced, high volume environment
    • Count accurately and write/record legibly
    • Good communication skills, both written and verbal

  3. Automotive Electrical Assembler

    We are looking for an Automotive Electrical Assembler to complete the install of electrical wiring on fire trucks, in our emergency vehicle division. This includes the responsibility for all wiring of lights, generators, light towers, and AC accessories.

    Job Responsibilities:

    • Complete 12V wire routing for all electrical needs
    • Install diodes
    • Install 12V lighting and switches
    • Install provisions for generators
    • Maintain a clean and safe work area while meeting production goals
    • Other duties as assigned

    Skills & Qualifications:

    • Understanding of 12V and AC electrical systems
    • Vocational training or equivalent experience with automotive electrical systems
    • Demonstrated ability to wire electrical connections
    • Ability to retain and apply instructions
    • Ability to read and understand truck specifications schematics and documents
    • Basic math skills
    • Ability to communicate and understand in English
    • Ability to work in a team environment

  4. 310T Truck Mechanic

    We are looking for an experienced 310T Truck Mechanic that can diagnose, overhaul, adjust, and repair all series of trucks and their components. This position will work on fire apparatus and emergency vehicles with our service team.

    Job Responsibilities:

    • Diagnose issues and make necessary repairs to fire trucks and emergency vehicles
    • Perform preventative maintenance and inspections on truck chassis and fire apparatus components
    • Perform major repairs on engines, electrical systems, hydraulic systems, air brakes, transmissions and all other parts of the apparatus
    • Maintain a safe and professional work environment
    • Other duties as assigned

    Skills & Qualifications:

    • Hold a valid 310T Truck and Coach Mechanic license
    • 310S would be considered an asset
    • Hands-on experience in shop processes
    • DZ license and emergency services experience and/or knowledge considered an asset
    • Understand and adhere to the Ministry of Transportation rules and regulations
    • Dependable, hardworking, punctual, and a reliable team player with a positive attitude

    We are looking for a Detailer/Undercoating technician to be responsible for cleaning the exterior and interior of our emergency vehicles and fire apparatus, before final delivery to customers. This position requires a strong attention to detail to ensure high customer satisfaction upon delivery.

    Job Responsibilities:

    • Prepare vehicles and apparatus for customer deliveries
    • Detail the interior and exterior of stock vehicles
    • Perform rustproofing, paint protection, and fabric protection
    • Use the buffer to polish vehicles as required
    • Maintain the detailing equipment
    • Other duties as assigned

    Skills & Qualifications

    • Automotive detailing experience on fire trucks preferred
    • Experienced in providing exceptional customer service
    • Team oriented, adaptable, with a positive attitude.

  6. Production Lead/Coordinator

    We are looking for a Production Lead/Coordinator to support the planning, coordination, and control of our emergency vehicle assembly line. This role is responsible for overseeing and coordinating the quality, productivity, safety, and team members schedule, at one of two production sites.

    We are recruiting applicants who we can count on to keep everyone on task and on schedule, ensuring that production goals are met, and provide input to help improve operations and streamline workflows. You will work with other departments and personnel that are part of the production process and will collaborate together as a team, to coordinate the production flow between locations.

    Our ideal candidate is quick to adapt to changing priorities and demands from any issues that may arise, will actively listen to fellow team members about concerns, and be versatile and resourceful in providing solutions.

    Job Responsibilities:

    • Review work orders and accordingly establish priorities and schedules to meet production goals
    • Work with team members in providing instructions, direction, and deadlines
    • Plan equipment, material, and personnel needed for job order
    • Plan and monitor movement in production cycles to ensure continuous operations
    • Monitor progress and execution of job orders, revising schedules as needed for timely delivery
    • Coordinate with supervisor in resolving production planning and control issues
    • Review production plans to identify and report potential issues and risks to management
    • Communicate and report production updates to senior management on regular basis

    Skills & Qualifications:

    • Previous experience in a similar role, minimum of 5 years’ experience
    • Experience with Microsoft office applications and inventory software
    • Proven organizational planning and scheduling
    • Self-motivated with excellent communication skills
    • Excellent customer service & time management skills
    • G license
