  1. Petroleum Calibration Technician ( Meter Calibration Technician)

    We are looking for a *PETROLEUM CALIBRATION TECHNICIAN* (METER CALIBRATION TECHNICIAN) to work on Heavy Trucks meter calibration system.

    Job responsibilities:

    • Calibrate bulk Petroleum Meter on Heavy Trucks as per Canada Measurement Standards
    • Perform minor meter repairs for gas, diesel, lube oil, and DEF meters
    • Repair or replace broken or malfunctioning components of petroleum pumps and metering

    Skills:

    • DIESEL TRUCKS/ automotive experience is must
    • Must be mechanically inclined
    • Excellent with Mathematics
    • Willing to learn
    • Able to prepare reports
    • Able to prepare reportsCustomer service skills

    Work schedule:

    8:00am – 5:00pm

You will provide problem-solving assistance to the organization and your team. In addition to monitoring key measurement data, for trend analysis and implementing continuous improvement activity.

    We are looking for an *EQUIPMENT & PARTS MANAGER*  to work for Dependable Fire Equipment. You will be responsible for juggling competing demands as well as working well under pressure. You will be responsible for managing the Fire Equipment Sales Department.  

    Job responsibilities:

    • Review equipment and parts sales 
    • Weekly reporting reviewed by management for parts and equipment sales
    • Promote parts & equipment to increase sales
    • Assist sales staff in determining proper part sales to customer
    • Oversee the purchase, sales and inventory of all parts. 
    • Oversee parts in the shipping and receiving procedure to optimize efficiency
    • Follow up with staff to ensure all customers are getting the required parts request as quickly and efficiently as possible. 

    Skills & Qualifications:

    • Bachelor's degree is an asset 
    • 10 years of parts experience & 5 years parts Manager experience. 
    • Automotive & Truck mechanical knowledge 
    • Good communication skills 
    • Excellent Customer Service & Time Management Skills 
    • G license

    We are looking for a *MANUFACTURING SUPERVISOR*  who is responsible for preparing work schedules, prioritizing jobs, and allocating work to the appropriate personnel. You must be able to work with parts supply and control function to ensure appropriate parts and supplies are allocated appropriately for upcoming jobs. 

    Job responsibilities:

    • Plans and establishes work schedules, assignments and production sequences, to meet production, quality, and financial goals. 
    • Provides clear instructions and direction to employees
    • Administers discipline and corrective action as necessary 
    • Assists with root cause analysis and problem resolution 
    • Is an integral part of continuous improvement in all areas of the organization
    • Identify and eliminates waste. 
    • Reads and analyzes prints, work orders, production schedule to determine production requirements and plans the use or rescores appropriately. 
    • Encourages and supports employees in the implementation of ideas to improve all aspects of the organization
    • Ensures compliance with all company policies and procedures 
    • Identifies and promotes opportunities for cross-training within and between departments.

    Skills & Required Qualifications:

    • DIESEL TRUCKS/ automotive experience is a must
    • 5+ years of Supervisor experience position
    • Post- Secondary education preferred in electronics, auto mechanics or related field with supervision, scheduling, and planning. 
    • Proven organizational planning and follow up skills required. 
    • Effective written and verbal communication skills 
    • Demonstrated results of driven performance 
    • Project Management experience is a plus 
    • Knowledge of manufacturing operations ( Fabrications, welding, paint, electrical and assembly).

  4. Electric Assembler

    We are looking for an *ELECTRIC ASSEMBLER* who completed the body wiring of the fire truck. This position includes all the wiring from the lights, generators, light towers, and AC accessories. 

    Job responsibilities:

    • Calibrate bulk Petroleum Meter on Heavy Trucks as per Canada Measurement Standards
    • Install diodes 
    • Complete 12 Volt wire routing for all electrical needs
    • Install 12 v Lighting 
    • Install 12 V switches 
    • Install provisions for generators 
    • Operates both stationary and moving overheads cranes 
    • Operates and equipment or tools needed to perform the job
    • Other duties as assigned 

    Skills & Qualifications:

    • DIESEL TRUCKS/ automotive experience is a must
    • Basic understanding of 12V and AC electrical systems
    • Vocational training or equivalent experience with automotive electrical systems
    • Demonstrated ability to wire electrical connections 
    • Ability to use basic hand and power tools 
    • Ability to work in a team environment 
    • Ability to maintain attendance with company guidelines. 
    • Ability to retain and apply instructions 
    • Ability to read and understand truck specifications document.
    • Ability to communicate and understand in English 
    • High School Diploma or equivalent 
    • Basic math skills
